Live at Zachary’s
Zachary’s is a nightclub in Panama City that features live, local music.
I was invited by Suzanne McDowell to paint while she performs at Zachary’s on Wednesday nights, from 5:30pm till 8:00pm (later if the crowd is good). You can follow Suzanne on her Facebook page.
The paintings shown below can be seen at Zachary’s. They are done on location as the musicians are performing. Each painting takes roughly 30 to 45 minutes to complete. These pieces are loosely painted, heavily textured. They are not only a depiction of our local musicians at work, but are also a reflection of the energy of the live music scene in Panama City, Florida.
